It feels good once again to be here to write to you about EARTH HOUR and our initiative to support and be a part of this campaign. I know that most of you are already aware of this global campaign but in case you have not yet heard about it I request you to please click this small video clip at the bottom of this page as I strongly believe that visuals are worth a thousand words….

WHY WE ?

As a National organization working for communicating science in INDIA for children and youth, we felt the need to volunteer and advocate this programme and promote it in the best possible way so that we all together can join to make a difference in this GLOBAL CAMPAIGN.

STRENGTH

This unique initiative of a single city in the year 2007 which has turned into a global solidarity is the best example to prove that IF WE DECIDE WE CAN! . this is to me the strength of a common man.

LET US SHOW THE WORLD ………

So now once again the world is getting ready to express solidarity in action to say that it’s high time for us to act. It’s not the question of which country you are from in order to stand up and act but the question of which planet you are from …….. Since there is only one paradise in this universe known till date …our EARTH!

In this global mission we have defined ourselves as a team to focus on few very clear and simple agendas of educating the future generations of this planet and make them understand the importance and value of protecting this planet. We believe once we succeed in doing it we will not only be securing our today but our tomorrow. !

Through EARTH hour Campaign we will be reaching you and sharing with you the small simple and effective ways to make a difference.
It’s not just about a day for switching off our lights for an hour but should be a moment for all of us to realize the intensity and impact of our presence in this universe and our responsibility to care our planet.

Let us celebrate this Earth Hour as a day of resolution to Stand Up and decide to go for a Change in our lifestyle which will talk about a GREEN future .
